Jülide Bozcu was born in Istanbul in 1976. She studied at Erenköy Girls’ High School and at Istanbul University in the Sociology and History departments. She completed her master’s degree at the University of Portsmouth with a thesis titled “Health Conditions of Sailors and the Navy’s Medical Equipment During World War I.” In the field of sociology, she prepared the studies “6 Continents 7 Colors: World Cultures” and “Sociology of Religion,” and participated in activities for young people and adults in civil society organizations. n the field of history, the first volume of her three-volume book project with Feride Bozcu, titled “The Simultaneous History of Humanity” with the subtitle “From Prehistoric Period to Late Antiquity” was published by Beyan Publications in 2022. She has been giving seminars titled “Simultaneous History Readings,” which present the history of world civilizations through a “holistic” approach, since 2007. Her published travel and sociology writings are parallel to her simultaneous history seminars and their topics. She continues to work and write in the field of sociology within PHAROS, which she founded in 2019 and which organizes history and culture seminars.
