PHAROS is a meeting place where seminars and events are organized. The seminar program, which is the locomotive of this project and at the center of the works carried out in PHAROS, is presented under the title of “Simultaneous History Studies”. Within the scope of the seminars, civilizations of history, magnificent cities, religions, philosophies and mythologies that emerged in different geographies throughout history are placed on a “timeline” in a holistic perspective. This kind of study technique ensures that the existing information fits like a puzzle piece and is included in the main theme.
Although generalizations are used when classifying information about history, historical turning points may differ in many sources. In the classification of this study, we consider the major transformations such as the generally accepted history of the script, the birth of civilizations, great migrations and discoveries, the spread of Christianity, Islamic conquests, the beginning of colonialism, and the end of the monarchies. We place the events and people on the timeline every 1000 years in ancient times and every 500 years after Christ. Every time we turn around the world simultaneously, starting from Mesopotamia. As Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi put it, “like compasses” we try to look at what 72 nations are doing with one foot at fertile crescent.

It is the aim of PHAROS to present history, philosophy, religions and history of art as an enjoyable hobby and socialization tool in today’s world, where information is accepted as the only reference, but of which the false information we are exposed to leads “standardization” especially young people. “The past is more alike to future than water is similar to water,” says Ibn Khaldun.
